Start vending machine business

This is my second post of the saga about how to start vending machine business . OK. so now that we answer the previous questions, in my last post :Starting a vending machine business then it is for us to really to go ahead and start our vending machine business. So first we need the location (even before we get the machine), the location is going to give you 2 clear points, the sort of businesses around the machine, and the sort of traffic you will get.

The traffic obviously is your potential clients, and the business around your machine are your competitors or your best friends.

Let me explain this: if you put a machine that sells soda drinks, near a hot dog spot, well potentially that could work perfect, but if the hot dog stand decides to sell drinks, your business is over.

The location when you consider start vending machine business process is key.

What sort of machine to get? My advice is you are a beginner in this, is to get an easy machine to operate and one that doesn’t need you to stock all the time. Drinks or Snacks are the easiest ones so far, mainly because people already know how these vending machines work, so you don’t need to tackle the “education of the customer” par.

Start a vending machine business requires a long of time, so if you are going to do it, go out in your local area and find one vending machine and count how many people use the machine during one hour, do your stats and find if that type of machine, in your point of view, is located in the best spot… then you will be able to start thinking as a vending machine business man. See you on my next post, where I will be talking again about how to start a vending machine business .
